Late night Ramblings

It is late...
Almost 1:00am here in Salem.
I am tired. I am worn out, washed up, wrung out and hung out to dry.

So why am I still on the computer?
Part of it is
I have just finished a quarterly report that has to go out tomorrow for my VISTA Volunteer position.
But some of it is that I am too tired to climb the stairs to get to my bed.

And mostly it is that I have missed the solitude, the quiet, the personal reflection time that allows me the time to think, the time to write, the time to pray, and the time to just be.

But I should go because the contacts in my eyes are dry and I can't quite focus on the words I have written.
Oh wait....
perhaps that is the rum.
