We have traveled over 1000 miles as of 9:30 tonight.
We have just under 500 left to go.
1500 miles...
And back again.
It was a beautiful, sunny, HOT day reaching temps of 100 plus.
We drove 'top down' much of the way and enjoyed it immensely.
The best part was being able to take in the whole sky as the sun set behind us.
We named the bird along the way.
We settled on Helios.
Helios is the brother of Eos, the Goddess of the Dawn.
So Helios watches over his sister, Eos and has kept her
and us,
safe...
and 'ticket-free'.
