And Life Blooms

I have always admired people who seem to have a 'green' thumb.
Those who can make plants grow and thrive.
I have never been very good at keeping plants alive.
I think of myself as having a 'brown' thumb.

So when my Christmas Cactus blooms I am surprised and delighted.
I have seen other Christmas Cactus plants double and triple the size of mine,
but when mine blossoms it bring me joy.
I guess when I see just about any flower in bloom I feel happy.
Whether it be bright colorful daisy's or cactus flowers in Tucson.
I just have to smile.


And it seems lately that in my life I am searching for more and more blossoms to bring a little joy and delight to my life.
