I am always honored when someone spends the time and money to come all the way west to visit me.
Its fun to plan and prepare for a visit from friends and family.
And even after a great visit it is still difficult to say good bye.
Much of our time was spent sitting on the back deck just visiting and catching up on life.
And the weather was perfect!
We ventured out for the right amount of hiking, sightseeing, and even some unexpected whale watching.
I hate to see him go, but we've already been talking about plans for next summer.
