This morning we head to Wichita, my hometown, and where our Brown clan first began.
While I am look forward to all the family I will see;
My parents, Jeff's parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, a brother & sister in law, numerous nieces & nephews, perhaps a cousin or three and most of all my 96 year old grandma, I recognize the next stop will be different.
We are shifting from my girls seeing there siblings and me watching the my children reconnect,
to me reconnecting with my siblings & Jeff's siblings.
We are fortunate that all 4 of the girls grandparents happen to be in Wichita this week as well. I never could have guessed this would all align in such a way. I hope I have my camera more at hand than I have here at Aimee's. Even though the girls are tired of being at the end of my lens, I know I missed some photo ops.
We have had a wonderful visit with Aimee and aren't quite ready to move on, but as we found with leaving Melissa's there is more ahead.
Sharing life, laughter, and late night conversations here with Mike, Aimee, their Aunt Debbie, and Laura T. (Caroline's Godmother) has been a rich experience.

Add in a movie, Worlds of fun, baking Aimee's famous cookies, and sleeping in...
Well it's been an incredible 2 and a half days.

We are a day and a half behind when I thought we would head to Wichita, but It feels right, this pace we are on.
I am beginning to look ahead more specifically to when we will get back home, home in Oregon, and that is looking closer everyday.
So onward we go!
Adventure Trek 2010 must go on!
