I enjoyed tremendously Fr. Torpey's 40th anniversary celebration. I shared a meal with Deb & Lisa as we told stories and shared many laughs from our past.
Listening to Torp's siblings tell childhood stories and reminesce was not unlike what I do with my family & friends.
Yesterday I managed to squeeze in time for lunch with my dear friend Sonny and his family.
We, too, told stories and reflected on where we've been, and how much has changed, and even made note of how some things are still the same.
I was glad Miechelle & Scott were able to join us and I can't wait to begin the road trip home with Miechelle!
Swimming at the Country Club with my grandsons followed by a wonderful evening walk finished our daylight hours.
Today the early morning thunderstorms have given way to lots of sunshine already. Its been a relaxing morning with just Zack while Melissa takes Cale to the dentist.
Later today, it's lunch with Torp followed by more time with local family & friends.
Life is good!
