It's been a very long day on a very short nights sleep.
After over 13 hours on the road and only 5 or so hours of sleep, Miechelle & I opted for another nights rest rather than adding 5 more hours of driving time to our already long travel day.
We stopped in Pendleton OR and found aroom at the Travelodge. The room is decent for the price except for the overactive Cinnamon fragranced air freshner. I don't want to know what the air freshner is supposed to mask.
We asked the hotel clerk where we could grab a bite to eat and a cold adult beverage.
She recommended "Crabby's".
It is only 4 blocks away, had good food, and decent prices.
We both thought the walk would be nice after a long day in the car.
And Crabby's didn't disappoint.
We had good food, good drinks, and most of all Great conversation!!!
So now we hope to get a good nights sleep so tomorrow I can get back to the job of being a Mom!
